Visit this commercial historic district along the shore of Big Stone Lake. More than 15 properties are on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Ortonville Free Library built in 1915 using Andrew Carnegie Funds, and the Big Stone County Courthouse constructed of brick and native granite in 1902, with a granite carved war memorial that was erected in 1920 on its lawn.
